MOSCOW, Nov 1, 2018.-  The President of Cuba, Miguel Diaz-Canel, celebrated on Thursday in this capital the victory of his country at the UN by achieving virtually unanimous support in his case against the economic, financial and commercial blockade imposed by the United States.

CUBA, Nov 2, 2018.- After a smashing victory at the United Nations, Cuba awakened today again focused on resisting the blockade imposed by the United States, standing despite a massive rejection in the top international organization.

Spanish Chancellor Reiterates European Union's Opposition to U.S. Blockade of Cuba

CUBA,  November 27, 2014.  Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Garcia-Margallo, who paid an official visit to Cuba, reiterated on Tuesday in this capital the European Union's disagreement with the economic, financial and commercial blockade imposed by the United States on the Caribbean island.

During his stay in Havana, which ended on Tuesday, Garcia-Margallo held exchanges with Cuban authorities of various spheres, and received details on the damages caused by that arbitrary measure to the Cuban people and the economy.

At WTO, Cuba urges the United States to end with the economic, commercial and financial blockade against Cuba

GENEVA, November 18, 2014. Cuban Ambassador to the International Organization in Geneva,  Anayansi Rodríguez Camejo, urged the United States to respect the position of 188 member State of the World Trade Organization who vote in favor of the end of the blockade against Cuba during last United Nations General Assembly.

The statement issued during the meeting of the WTO Dispute Settlement Body who assesses each month the non-compliance by the United States in relation with “Section 211”.

"It is incongruous for the United States to value the contributions of Cuban doctors who are sent by their government to assist in international crises like the 2010 Haiti earthquake while working to subvert that government by making defection so easy", states the article.

Germany rejects US blockade against Cuba

GERMANY, November 14, 2014. The new government of Germany condemned during a parliamentary debate, the economic, commercial and financial blockade of United States against Cuba.

In an address, Socialist legislator Wolfgang Gehrcke, the minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Michael Roth, highlighted the role of Germany each year during the votation against blockade at United Nations General Assembly.

"As previous years, the European Union has voted for the end of the blockade against Cuba", said Roth
