THE BAHAMAS, November 14th, 2017. - The Cuban Ambassador to the Bahamas, Ismara Vargas Walter, participated as a special guest on the radio program "Connected", hosted by the Bahamian journalist Lester Cox, at 96.9 of the Guardian Radio.

CUBA, November 1st, 2017.- The Cuban resolution ¨Necessity of putting an end to the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States of America against Cuba¨ was widely supported in the United Nations this Wednesday, obtaining  191 votes in favor, 2 against (USA and Israel) and 0 abstentions.

NICARAGUA,october 25, 2017.- The economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States against Cuba has been condemned by the United Nations General Assembly on 23 occasions, as it constitutes a violation of international law and the independence, self-determination and sovereignty of the Cuban people.

Greece Stresses Americans' Feeling vs. Blockade on Cuba

The United Nations has voted for 22 years in a row to condemn the Cuban embargo in lopsided votes. Last year only Israel and the United States itself voted against the resolution.

US Citizens Favor Normalization of Relations with Cuba

UNITED STATES,  February 11, 2014.- The majority of US citizens supports a change of policy regarding Cuba, after 50 years of blockade, according to a survey published today. The report written by the bipartisan Atlantic Council, expresses 56% of US citizens favor  a "change" of US policy towards Cuba.

Even more surprisingly is the position of Florida which was the state with the highest number of people aiming at better relations with Cuba.
