Caravan "Bridges of Love" in the United States raises its voice against the blockade.

Washington D.C.; January 31, 2021 - About five hundred Cubans living in the United States and sympathizers with the island carried out this Sunday, January 31, a caravan in several cities of the northern nation.

Under the premise of building "Bridges of Love between Cuba and the United States", the caravan of bicycles and cars was held for the first time in four major cities: Miami, New York, Seattle and Los Angeles.

The General Director in charge of the United States at the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Carlos Fernandez de Cossio, affirmed that Cuba will defend its sovereignty against the aggressions the United States currently intensifies.

G77 stands against the economic, financial and commercial blockade imposed by the US on Cuba

The Ministerial Declaration of the 44th Meeting of Ministers for Foreign Affairs of the Group of 77 (G77) was approved today. An entire section of this document, focused on reaffirming that the imposition of coercive measures on developing countries does not contribute to the economic and social development of their peoples and is not tools that favor dialogue and understanding among peoples.

US Citizens Favor Normalization of Relations with Cuba

UNITED STATES,  February 11, 2014.- The majority of US citizens supports a change of policy regarding Cuba, after 50 years of blockade, according to a survey published today. The report written by the bipartisan Atlantic Council, expresses 56% of US citizens favor  a "change" of US policy towards Cuba.

Even more surprisingly is the position of Florida which was the state with the highest number of people aiming at better relations with Cuba.

OCI supports the Cuban resolution against the U.S. blockade

ARABIA SAUDITA, October 30, 2013- The representative to the United Nations of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), called anachronistic, unjustified and unfair the economic, financial and commercial U.S. blockade against Cuba. Djibouti's Ambassador to the UN, H.E. Mr. Roble Olhaye, on behalf of Islamic countries, stressed that this unilateral measure limited the efforts and the development aspirations of the Cuban people.

US blockade on Cuba violates UN Charter

CATAR, 24 October 2013. The ambassador of Cuba has highlighted the sufferings of his compatriots back home “due to the economic blockade imposed by Washington 53 years ago”.
Ernesto D Plasencia Escalante told in a recent news conference that Cubans have suffered economic losses of more than $1.15tr in the over five decades of blockade.

Cuba's Ambassador in Egypt denounces genocidal blockade of United States against his country.

Cairo, October 24, 2013. The Ambassador of Cuba in Egypt, Otto Vaillant Frías, gave a press conference to Egyptian media, which denounced the genocidal and illegal blockade imposed by United States to the Cuban nation for more than five decades.
