Havana. Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez condemned Monday the United States Administration´s obsession to destroy the Revolution.

“New millions for old infamies, for the perverse obsession to destroy the Revolution," wrote Díaz-Canel on Twitter, while commenting on the White House's decision to allocate up to three million dollars for covert actions to denounce presumed labor and sexual exploitation in Cuba.

Cuban Parliament Denounces U.S. Media War

CUBA, May 5, 2014. The Cuban Parliament denounced the continued U.S. media war against the island in a context marked by the use of new information and communication technologies with subversive aims.

During a public hearing, Cuban parliament representative Alberto Nuñez read a statement issued by the Parliament’s International Relations Committee criticizing the U.S. destabilizing actions which have taken place since the triumph of the Cuban Revolution in 1959.

Cuban Chancery Appreciates Chinese support against the Blockade

CUBA, April 22, 2014. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, appreciated the support by China at international forums against the economic, financial and commercial blockade imposed by the United States to the Caribbean Island for more than five decades.

Rodriguez highlighted the opposition of the Asian nation to Washington’s hostile policy, during the official welcoming to his Chinese counterpart, Wang Yi, who carried out a visit to Havana as part of a Latin American tour.

The Us Office of Foreign Assets Control punished the Dutch company for having programmed business trips from and to the island since 2006, when its capital largely went to American owners.

US Blockade against Cuba qualifies as an act of genocide

BELGIUM, April 4, 2014. During March 31, April 1st, Belgium headquartered a Conference on the Prevention of Genocide, sponsored by this country’s government to remember the 20 anniversary of Rwanda’s genocide. Cuban was represented by Ambassador Mirtha Hormilla Castro and first secretary at Cuban embassy, Alejandro Fuentes Febles.

Secretary General of United Nations, Ban Ki-moon attended the event as well as 22 ministers of Foreign Affairs, especially from Africa and Europe, judicial experts, academics and representatives from the civil society.
