Rodriguez posted on Twitter that this policy is the main impediment to our development and a flagrant violation of the human rights of all Cubans.

Washington is totally isolated in its policy against Cuba, said the general director of the United States Division at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Carlos Fernández de Cossío, in an presentation on national television.

Helms-Burton Act violates United Nations Charter, Cuba denounces

A new lawsuit was filed in Florida against several Cuban tourism companies under Title III of Helms-Burton Act, activated by the U.S. government. According to Prensa Latina, members of the Mata family filed a claim in the federal court of the Southern District of Florida to request compensation for the use of the Meliá San Carlos hotel, in Cienfuegos.
