The Libera-Cuba Friendship Organization condemns the inclusion of Cuba on the list of countries that do not collaborate against terrorism. At the same time, they denounce once again the terrorist act committed last April 30th against the Cuban Embassy in Washington DC. They point out that the United States remains silent and that terrorist acts cannot go unpunished.

The Australian Solidarity with Latin America (ASLA) rejected the unjust inclusion of Cuba by the United States government in the list of countries that do not cooperate in the fight against terrorism.In its statement, ASLA clarifies that the Caribbean nation has never engaged in terrorist actions of any kind, but, on the contrary, terrorism has been used by the US government itself to destroy the country since the defeat of Fulgencio Batista. This is conclusively demonstrated by innumerable events that have left a deep and painful mark on the people and history of Cuba, such as Mongoose Operation, the Cubana de Aviación aircraft bombing in Barbados in 1976, the attack on the Copacabana hotel in 1997 where the young Italian Fabio Di Celmo died and, recently, the shooting at the the Cuban Embassy in Washington.
