We who are gathered at this National Meeting of Solidarity Organizations with Cuba, 3 years following the anniversary of the transition of the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel, call on the administration of the United States of America to unconditionally lift the criminal economic blockade of our sister country, whose anachronistic retention is a bare-faced and arrogant repudiation of international law, a systematic violation of the Human Rights of the Cuban People and an act of Genocide under the 1948 United Nations ‘Convention on the Punishment of the Crime of Genocide’.

The EFF condemns Donald Trumps' administration for its recent senseless decision to escalate sanctions on Cuba by suspending flights to nine destinations from the USA to Cuba. This is in an attempt to punish the Cuban flourishing tourism economy.

Athens, 19 September 2019.- A mass event of condemnation of the unfair economic, commercial and financial blockade of the United States against Cuba was held within the framework of the 45th Communist Youth Festival of Greece (KNE), in a central park in the Greek capital. The event was held in greeting the 60th Anniversary of the Cuban Revolution, under the title "The Cuban Revolution is Not a Bed of Roses, It is a struggle between the past and the future", paraphrasing the words of Fidel Castro.

Brazilian journalists condemn new US sanctions against Cuba

Protest against blockade in a demonstration held in Copenhagen
