Speaker of the House of the Assembly of Dominica condemns the blockade of the United States government against Cuba

The Speaker of the House of the Assembly of the Commonwealth of Dominica, Joseph Isaac, received the Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba in this country, Ulises Arranz Fernández, at the headquarters of the Dominica´s Parliament. During the meeting, topics of interest for bilateral relations between both countries were discussed, especially those related to issues of a parliamentary nature.

In a statement released on Saturday, the group described the initiative introduced by the Cuban-origin legislators as an 'example of absolute contempt for human life.' They are fervent enemies of the Cuban people and their intention is to further tighten the blockade the United States has imposed on Cuba.
