 More than 20 vehicles joined a new caravan in Miami, Florida, to condemn the aggressive policies that the US government has implemented against Cuba. As they did on June 8 and on previous occasions, the vehicles had Cuban flags, played their horns incessantly and turned on the lights to call people's attention on their claims.

Chilean legislator condemns worsening of US blockade against Cuba

As one of the last desperate shots of a ruthless economic war against Cuba, the Chilean politician Hugo Gutierrez described the activation of Title III of the Helms-Burton Act, "one of the most outlandish tools of  US against Cuba's sovereignty and economic development, and a key part of the blockade to choke the economy and sabotage its socialist model".

Argentine jurists, intellectuals denounce hostility against Cuba

 Argentine jurists and intellectuals denounced the persistent US hostility towards Cuba with the blockade imposed 60 years ago. Based at the Rodolfo Walsh house in Buenos Aires, an open talk was organized by the Argentine chapter of the Network of Intellectuals and Artists in Defense of Humanity, in which Cuban ambassador to Argentina, Orestes Perez, participated.

UK called to act against US anti-Cuba Measures

Cuban residents in the United Kingdom condemned the new escalation of sanctions by the United States against Cuba, and called on the British Government to comply with its own laws against Washington´s extraterritorial measures. 

Global Trade Unionists call for ending Blockade against Cuba

The elimination of the US blockade against Cuba and the application of Title III of Helms-Burton Act called the final declaration of the International Trade Union Colloquium on sugar and drinks sector. Trade union leaders from Belgium, El Salvador, Honduras, Bolivia, Peru, Colombia and Cuba attended the event, held in Villa Clara.

Diaz-Canel: Investors still in Cuba despite US pressures

Most of foreign investors keep their business in Cuba in spite of pressures and sanctions of the US blockade, President Miguel Diaz-Canel affirmed this Wednesday. The president told deputies of the Service Commission of the National Assembly of People's Power that foreign businessmen are even presenting new projects.

South Africa condemns the US Blockade against Cuba

US aggressions against Cuba were strongly condemned in South Africa as a violation of international law and a transgression of the rights to peace, development and security of such a sovereign State. According to a statement issued by the Association of South African Graduates in Cuba, blockade also trespasses on third nations´ sovereignty due to its extraterritorial nature.

Canadian religious Leader rejects US hostility against Cuba

Canadian Rev. Christopher Ferguson, Secretary General of the World Communion of Reformed Churches, has reiterated his rejection to the blockade and the intensification of US hostility against Cuba. Regarding this policy, the also Minister of the United Church of Canada affirmed that they will continue 'asking for the end of the blockade, which is both immoral and illegal.

Cuban residents in Costa Rica on Tuesday rejected the application of Title III of Helms-Burton Act and other measures by the US government to intensify the economic, commercial and financial blockade against Cuba.
