Saint Vincent and the Grenadines-Cuba Friendship Association condemns escalation of us blockade against Cuba and calls for solidarity activity

With a strong Declaration condemning the intensification of the US blockade against Cuba and the vileness of the restrictive measures dictated by the Government of that country against the largest of the Antilles, the Saint Vincent and the Grenadines-Cuba Friendship Association has addressed the press and Vincentian society.

Condemns in Greece the US blockade against Cuba

Athens, 19 September 2019.- A mass event of condemnation of the unfair economic, commercial and financial blockade of the United States against Cuba was held within the framework of the 45th Communist Youth Festival of Greece (KNE), in a central park in the Greek capital. The event was held in greeting the 60th Anniversary of the Cuban Revolution, under the title "The Cuban Revolution is Not a Bed of Roses, It is a struggle between the past and the future", paraphrasing the words of Fidel Castro.

Brazilian journalists condemn new US sanctions against Cuba

Brazilian journalists, members of the group Amigos de Cuba ( Friends of Cuba), condemned today the new US sanctions against the Caribbean island, reported Prensa Latina News Agency.The group joins the international solidarity campaign with Cuba in the face of the new aggressive behavior of Donald Trump's administration.

Protest against blockade in a demonstration held in Copenhagen

Thousands of people demonstrated on September 2 in Copenhagen against the imperialist policy of the United States. In that context, Danish friends in solidarity with Cuba protested against the blockade in front of the US Embassy in Copenhagen, where they made speeches to demand the lifting of the blockade and condemned the tightening of that genocidal policy.

Trump's policies against Cuba condemned in United States

 More than 20 vehicles joined a new caravan in Miami, Florida, to condemn the aggressive policies that the US government has implemented against Cuba. As they did on June 8 and on previous occasions, the vehicles had Cuban flags, played their horns incessantly and turned on the lights to call people's attention on their claims.

Chilean legislator condemns worsening of US blockade against Cuba

As one of the last desperate shots of a ruthless economic war against Cuba, the Chilean politician Hugo Gutierrez described the activation of Title III of the Helms-Burton Act, "one of the most outlandish tools of  US against Cuba's sovereignty and economic development, and a key part of the blockade to choke the economy and sabotage its socialist model".

Argentine jurists, intellectuals denounce hostility against Cuba

 Argentine jurists and intellectuals denounced the persistent US hostility towards Cuba with the blockade imposed 60 years ago. Based at the Rodolfo Walsh house in Buenos Aires, an open talk was organized by the Argentine chapter of the Network of Intellectuals and Artists in Defense of Humanity, in which Cuban ambassador to Argentina, Orestes Perez, participated.

UK called to act against US anti-Cuba Measures

Cuban residents in the United Kingdom condemned the new escalation of sanctions by the United States against Cuba, and called on the British Government to comply with its own laws against Washington´s extraterritorial measures.
