CUBA, March 20, 2016. - The Provincial Atherosclerosis Chapter of the Provincial Council of Scientific Health Societies in Pinar del Río sent an open letter to President Barack Obama asking the lift of the blockade that so much damage has been causing in Cuba during more than 50 years.

CUBA, October 27, 2015. - the Cuban resolution “Necessity of putting an end to the economic, commercial and financial blockade of the United States against Cuba” received a historic support today in the United Nations being voted 191 in favor, 2 against and no abstentions.

In the framework of the 70th period of sessions of the United Nations General Assembly, the international community represented here firmly expressed its vote for the legitimate right of the Cuban people and government to decide on its future, sovereignty and self-determination.
