ICAP: an attack on IFCO is an attack against the Solidarity!

CUBA, September 7th, 2016.-

World solidarity friends:

We stand in solidarity with our brothers of IFCO / Pastors for Peace, who for nearly 30 years have promoted social-community projects in defense of the poor classes within and outside the United States and have defied the blockade imposed by this government to our country for more 50 years. The Pastors for Peace Caravan, since its foundation by the close friend and eternal Lucius Walker, brought to Cuba, at its worst, the solidarity despite any obstacles, alleviating the suffering of the Cuban people during the Special Period in the 90's.

We strongly reject this situation that are facing our IFCO brothers (Interreligious Foundation for Community Organization Pastors for Peace), when they have brought to our country donations, medicines and alongside our people have advocated that peace and solidarity are necessary in this world marked by war and social injustice.

We call on all friends in the world to join the solidarity and support to this sister organization.

We reaffirm that an attack on IFCO is an attack against the Solidarity!
