CUBA, March 19, 2016.- Cuba’s National Association of Blind and Partially Sighted (ANCI) sent an open letter to President Barack Obama motivated by his visit to Cuba.

In the letter, the Association asks Obama to keep insisting on lifting the unjust and absurd blockade which has only caused much suffering, especially to the most vulnerable people of the society, among them the handicapped, and particularly the people with visual disability, who are trying to occupy their place in an environment troubled by this inhuman policy.

In his message the Cuban ONG stressed that despite the existing political difference between our nations, we are joined by the roots in which the peoples stand cultivating a common feeling of patriotism and attachment to their identity.

And they end up expressing their confidence in his visit to help consolidate the relations between the two peoples. (Cubavsbloqueo)
