Cubans living in Ghana in their 6th National Meeting reiterate their rejection of the blockade

GHANA, 28th October, 2017.- Cubans living in Ghana held their 6th National Meeting at the T-Havana Parks, which has become an emblematic place for the Cuban presence in this country.

The nearly 50 participants expressed their support for the sovereign decision of the Cuban people to build their own political system, and explicitly condemned the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the US against Cuba for more than five decades.

Cuba presents its achievements in terms of social development, despite the US blockade

NEW YORK, 5 February, 2018. The Permanent Representative of Cuba to the United Nations, Ambassador Anayansi Rodriguez Camejo, participated in the general debate on Agenda Item 3: Follow-up to the World Summit for Social Development and the twenty-fourth special session of the General Assembly, Sub-items a) and b) of the 72nd session of the United Nations General Assembly. In this context, she presented Cuba's achievements in terms of social development with the support of the State despite the fierce blockade imposed by the United States against the island for more than 50 years.
