Malaysian newspaper discloses damage of blockade to bilateral relationship with Cuba

MALAYSIA, November 2nd, 2017.- The Malaysian newspaper New Strait Times reproduced the article by Dr Stephen Wilkinson, from the Center for Cuban Studies at the University of Buckingham in the United Kingdom.

The article describes the damages of the blockade to Cuba and the effects that this policy has caused to the bilateral relationship of Malaysia with this country. The author points out that despite good relations with the government of Cuba with the Malaysian government, the companies of this country are limited by the laws of the blockade to conduct business with the island.

The article entitled "If you thought the blockade of Cuba was over, please think again" was written especially for the current campaign against the blockade, in collaboration with the Cuban embassy in Malaysia.
