Introduced to malaysian media the report on the damages of the blockade to Cuba

MALAYSIA, October 27, 2017.-  The ambassador of Cuba in Malaysia, Ibete Fernández Hernández, held a meeting with Malaysian media and accredited in the country to present the report of Cuba on the damage of the blockade.

In her presentation, the ambassador highlighted the examples contained in the report on how the Cuba-Malaysia relationship was affected in the period described in the document and how the extraterritorial dimension of the blockade has impeded the development of normal trade relations with the rest of the world. He also highlighted the value of the losses caused to the different sectors, which amount to more than 130 billion dollars.

The ambassador reported that Cuba will again present the resolution against the blockade on November 1, for which her country hopes to have majority support. In that framework, he thanked Malaysia's consistent position against that unilateral policy. (Cubavsbloqueo-Embacuba Malasia)
