Norwegian Socialist Party Condemns US Blockade of Cuba

Havana, Apr 8 (Prensa Latina) Norway´s Progressive Socialist Party slammed the US blockade of Cuba for over four decades,

The reproach was made during the recently concluded 16th Congress of this political force, the second largest social democratic group in the European country, Granma daily highlighted Friday.

At the meeting party members also committed to fighting increasing US hostility towards the Island, which has been almost unanimously and continuously condemned at the UN General Assembly since 1992.

Cuban Ambassador in Norway Jorge Lamadrid attended the Congress and witnessed abundant signs of solidarity and support for Cuba.
