Salvador´s President Favors a Definitive Solution of the Blockade against Cuba

UNITED NATIONS, September 23, 2011.- The President of El Salvador, Mauricio Funes, favoured the definitve end of the United States blockade against Cuba during his speech at the United Nation General Assembly.

Funes expressed they consider this blockade is not only an anachronism and past episode  of the history we want to left behind, adding that essencially, a blockade agaisnt Cuba is a step towards the desunity,  an obstacle in the course of history that would weaken us as continent.

Mauricio Funes administration has voted against the blockade since his inuguration in 2009. (Cubaminrex)
