Cuban Community in Grenada Sends Message to U.S. President Demanding the Lifting of the Blockade.
Grenada, 5 May 2010. The Cuban Community in Grenada gathered this Wednesday to demand that the President of the United States, Barack Obama, immediately release the Five Cuban Heroes in U.S. jails, and lift the U.S. blockade against Cuba.
Cubans residing on the Caribbean island also denounced the media campaign unleashed by the U.S. government and the European Union aimed at justifying their plans of aggression against the Cuban people.
The meeting was attended by Gilda Campos, President of the Association of Cubans residing in Grenada, members of the Board of this organization and a representation of the Cuban community on the island.
Also present were Cuban Ambassador to Grenada, Ángel Reigosa de la Cruz, and the rest of the staff of the Cuban Embassy in this country. (Cubaminrex- Embacuba Grenada) |
